Music spacing problem??
Moderators: Peter Thomsen, miker
Hi All, I've had this issue for many years and I still don't know how to fix it. When I'm editing linked parts, the music spacing gets crazy when I place the Speedy Entry cursor and then remove it. I have attached a file to show what usually happens. The way I fix this is by manually editing the amount of measures per system, but I'm that there has to be an easier and more efficient way of doing this. Is there some sort of "smart" music spacing tool?? I really appreciate your help!!

have you e. g. tried an Update Layout (in Finale 2012 it is in the Utilities menu)?

Looks like what happens when you have too many notes in a measure. Do you have it set to warn when you add too many beats?jelopez19 wrote:Hi All, I've had this issue for many years and I still don't know how to fix it.
