Invalid file type

I was working with the Finale 2012, and so I saved a job, immediately the electric power fell and when the PC came back, I get a "Invalid File type". How I recover this file?

Welcome to the forum. I suspect corruption in the file, due to the power failure. Is there a .bak file you can try? If not, you might have to send the file to MM, to see if they can recover it.
