I encounterd the following situation.
I opened 2 files to work on. When I minimized one of them the other one started behaving odd. I could hardly work in it. When I for instance selected a measure the "selection box" only appeared after a page down and a page up. Also when I entered a forward repeat it only showed after a page down and page up.
When I switch between the two all goes well. This only happens when one file is minimized.
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong.
I work on a iMac with the latest version of El Capitan and Finale 2014.5

This is a known issue.

I suppose that you minimize because you have too little screen space?
You can avoid minimizing by positioning one document window behind the other.

Also, what Page View Style are you using?
Users have reported that there are less problems with “Looseleaf Style: Current Page Only”.

Hi Peter,
The "workaround" that you suggested is indeed what I normally do.
Because of that workaround this is a problem that I can live with.
I normally work in scroll view. Only when I work on the layout of the printed pages I switch to page view.
