Hi,
I started getting an error code whenever I try to launch PrintMusic:
"The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fiz this problem."
I have uninstalled PM and reinstalled it from the site but the error remains.
Any ideas?
Thanks/Brgds

The first step is to search your system for that file. If it's there, then it's probably a matter of file permissions or of moving it to somewhere where the program will find it.

This is a Windows error. There are many reasons the error can exist including that it may be present but not be the version that PrintMusic requires. Anyway, it's a common issue. Start here:

This site assumes you know what you are doing.

Print Music is a 32bit application so you will need the 32bit version of this .dll if there are now two. Otherwise, the article is self-explanitory.

If this does not resolve the issue, go to the support site and ask MM using the Submit a request link at the top of the page. MM will know if it goes anywhere besides the System 32 folder.

I used to run into this many years ago when I did tech support for a Windows software company. There was a .dll that had different functionality depending on the OS — it had less in NT and XP than 95/98 (which should give a clue how long ago that was). Anyway, the "fat" version worked in all OS. Microsoft would not let us bundle it with our installers, however.
