Finale v25: "Large Tool" icons has poor placements

Hello,

I use Finale v25 on my Surface Pro 3 (resolution 2160x1440). When I check the "Large Tool" icons in Preferences, "the images" in the palettes are slightly uneven (as shown here: https://i.imgur.com/aZHjzee.png) whereas when I don't check Large Tool icons, the whole thing is fine. However, I really want to use large tool icons.
Will this be fixed in the next update?

Cheers,
Liam

Sorry, but I don't see what you mean.

Try looking more closely at the Main Tool, Simply Entry, Special Tool and Smart Shape Palettes

With Large Tools icons selected:

You'll see that the icon images are slightly cut off and uneven

Without Large Tools selected:

You'll see that the icon images are completely fine

If you insist. But I don’t see anything that bothers me.

Okay, I circled them this time for better clarity. You can see that it starts off fine, then gradually, the subsequent icons are not in the middle of the "squares"

Hope this helps

Now I can see what you mean. It must be a Windows issue. On a Mac, the tiles aren't separated like that.

Maybe someone with Windows can check on their computer for you.

Thank you for that. :D

I mentioned before that I use a Surface Pro 3 with a native resolution of 2160x1440
I assume that there are some that use Finale on Surface Pro 4 and up (which have an even higher resolution) and may experience this issue as well.
On the Finale main website, it says in system requirements "high resolution displays are currently not supported"

I hope in the next update that this palette issue will be fixed and the next version of Finale will be more tablet friendly.

Cheers,
Liam
