I have been experiencing issues with midi controllers for some time after upgrading my Mac to El Capitan OS. I recently purchased a new controller which installed automatically, no problem. The issue is that when entering notes in Speedy Entry (I’m using Finale 2010) I can only input single notes at a time without the chord tones sustaining (ringing on) on some of the chord tones being omitted from the chord. When the notes keep sustaining I have to click outside the measure to stop the sustain. The only way to get all notes in a chord to register is to finger them individually and hold....but then one or more will sustain. Any suggestions how to solve this issue?

Finale 2010 is not compatible with El Capitan. You should upgrade.
