Help! I upgraded my Mac to the latest OS (High Sierra, I think) and it said I had to download Java 6 script. That downloaded okay and everything seems to be the same except the look and the lettering but when I try to play back my compositions THERE'S NO SOUND! What happened?

2012 is not supported on High Sierra (or Mojave, which is the latest OS.)

It might work, it might work with problems, it might not work at all. There is nothing to be done, except upgrade Finale, or downgrade your Mac. Sorry.

Mike is right, but nevertheless and purely in the meantime it might be worth checking the various options that are under the MIDI/Audio menu, in case some setting was inadvertently changed during the upgrade of the OS.

... and it seems that 2012 won't work with recent MacOs unless you desactivate Human Playback.
