I have a Yamaha DGX 660. When I play a score through it, it will not play the sound of a violin as being plucked. When I play it though my computer it sounds fine. Why? Or should I contact Yamaha. I

How does your keyboard generate pizzicato sound? By a program change to a pizz 'instrument'?

Your 'pizz' Expression has to contain the correct MIDI data to trigger the effect in whatever is playing back. It's likely that the Garritan internal software sounds don't use the same MIDI message to trigger pizz as your keyboard.

That maybe true. I wrote to Yamaha and they told me how to turn it on, but that did not answered my question as to why it did not play back the pluck sound instead of the bowed sound.

You need to know how/whether your keyboard makes a plucked string sound; and how to trigger it in the Finale Expression.
