Hi

I have trouble with notation being extremly slow. The Mac I use is very fast, but it takes over one second for a note to appear on the stem after i hit the mouse button. One second + + can sometimes be a long time! Most of the functions in Finale is the same - extremly slow.

You need to provide a lot more information. What OS version, what version of Finale? Do you have any MIDI equipment attached?
Are any actions unaffected?
Is any other software running?

Definitely not normal behavior.
