I am working on a solo piano transcription. I often stop to play a part on my controller to help in the transcription process. However, if I use the sustain pedal, the effect stays engaged and I have to send a notes-off message to clear things up. If I touch the pedal again, it starts again. Only in Finale, not in any other DAW.

Using an Arturia Keylab 88 mk ii connected via USB. Pedal is an older Yamaha FC4 sustain pedal (works fine with synths and in my DAW). Using Finale 27.3.

I am using a Yamaha FC4 pedal, which is known to not release all the way to zero on the MIDI scale (0-127). I can see in the controller display that my pedal bottoms out (releases) around 6-9. However, I never had this problem until upgrading Finale and to the Arturia controller.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
