Hello,
* Version 27.4.1.110 takes much longer to load than before(for me, 20 seconds plus on a faster than avg system).
* Also, at times, I'm unable to access the File or Edit menu item. I get the executing circle. However, other menu items are able to be accessed. This is very strange.

Something is different with this update. I've never had these types of problems.

I would uninstall, SHUT DOWN and restart the computer, and reinstall. Restart again.

It might have to do with Windows Security. You could try going to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection. Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings, and then under Exclusions, select Add or remove exclusions. Try adding C:/ProgramFiles/MakeMusic/Finale and C:/ProgramFiles/Garritan.

But first I would contact MakeMusic and complain.

Without knowing your operating system, everyone with a specific answer is guessing. Windows what?
