Using HyperScribe under Windows Xp

I'm running Finale 2003 under Windows XP and some tools definetely don't function. For example is imposible to record a score using Hyper Scribe. Under Windows 98 everything is OK. Is any advice available?

what processor is in your computer and how much RAM do you have? XP and Finale eat resources. Ive just upgraded to 2004 on two machines. one an old pentium 2. Finale and xp won't work. On my 2.4 gig pentimtium with 512mg RAM everything works like a dream. Can't even get the old machine to register with CODA - but new machine is fine.
