Playback sometimes ignores notes or their proper lengths

Hello,
I'm sorry if this issue has been posted- I wasn't sure how to search for it if it was. When I playback my song, sometimes I don't hear certain notes, or they don't play as long as they should. For example, I make a chord of three hole notes, but on playback I only hear two hole notes and one quarter note (so in the full measure, one note stops a quarter of the way while the rest play the whole measure). Might anyone have a suggestion? I am running version 2006r3.

mussashimits,

First visit the Finale website and download the latest update for Finale 2006 - Finale 2006C.

Install the update then check to see if the playback issues have been solved.

What OS are you on? If Vista, then that might be your problem. The software may not be compatible with Vista. Installation may go fine, but then the software may encounter problems as such you mentioned.

Check in with tech support or call.
