Serouis trouble when playing Finale 2003 score on XP

I just got a new PC with Windows XP (my old PC had Windows Me). I re-installed my Finale 2003 on my new computer, but now I have a serious troubles when playing: the green line sometimes scrolls and plays, sometimes doesn't and freezes Finae. And each time I try to play some measures in the middle of the score using he rapid forward arrow, it freezes eveything and I have to re-start Finale. I tried to re-install the software several times but I still have the same probleme. What can I do ??

I have the same problem on my 'old' computer 233mgz with 128K RAM. I 90% sure it's memory problem ND/OR processor problem - not enough guts in the machine to handle scrolling and playback. Try playing from a file and see if that works. If it does not then look at adding memory. If that does not do it then you've got to upgrade the PC. My 2.4 Ghz with 521K RAM works like a charm.
