I have not been able to import/open files created on a Mac (Finale 2004) on a PC (Fnale 2004). Keeps saying Invalid File Type.

Any ideas??

Two ideas:

1) When importing from Mac, make sure that the files names end with the .MUS extension.

2) Before transferring the .MUS file, compress it as a .ZIP file.
Mac OS X 10.3 Panther can create .ZIP files (Look in the Finder's File menu).
The .ZIP file format is a common file format in Windows, and most Windows machines already have one of the free utilities that can unpack .ZIP files.

A remark : most of the time, double clicking on the file won't work to open it.
Launch Finale first, and then in the File menu, use open.
Then save the file, it will later on open normally with a double-click.
