I use Finale 2004. My OS is Windows XP. I would like to know how to open files that were created with Encore on a MacIntosh computer.

File menu > Import > Encore...
is the way to go.
However, there have been reports about problems with Encore import.
Sometimes it's necessary to re-open the files in Encore and save them again from Encore, before import into Finale works succesfully.
