Hi All,
I am using finale 2009.

My rehearsal letters show up in score view, but when I view individual parts the rehearsal letters are missing.

I checked the settings and they are all set to "show in score and parts"

Not sure what could be causing this. It seems like they dissapeared from the parts when I changed the amount of measures per page in score view.

I went back and deleted them all and then put them all in AGAIN, but does anyone know what this is happening?

I assume that these Rehearsal Marks have been created using the expression category of the same name.
In that category (Edit category), does Score list 1 have top staff for score, and top staff for parts selected ?

I checked on Finale 2009 and found that if I had a single staff and I entered a rehearsal mark, even if I added new staves and did a "Generate parts, then the rehearsal marks did not show on any parts, even the original. If I then deleted the rehearsal mark and re-entered it, then it appeared in all parts. It would seem that it is a slave to the order that you do things. Did you originally enter the rehearsal marks before you generated parts?

Also, do you have the latest version of 2009 (b or c) ?

For what it's worth, this oddity can still be true as of fall 2018.

After XML Import, rehearsal letters appear in the score correctly.
After generating parts, they do not appear in the parts.
Deleting and re-entering the rehearsal markings makes them appear in the parts.

Another mysterious and irritating quirk of Finale...
