Hello everyone.
I've been having a problem with the speed entry tool, and it's driving me crazy.
I'm trying to use the speed entry tool through my MIDI controller keyboard. However, there is no sound when I play the keyboard. I just can't hear what I'm recording. Even after choosing an instrument to my staff, nothing happens when I play the keyboard.
Once it is recorded and the notes are written, if I press play, then I can hear what was recorded. The playback is working nicely, but while entering the notes there is no sound, so I can't preview the notes I'm about to record.
Just to be a little clearer - the keyboard is working, and I can write the notes using it. The only problem is that I can't hear the notes when I play the keyboard, before inserting the notes. It seems it is muted somehow.
All MIDI and AUDIO settings are okay. The software shows and recognizes my keyboard under "MAC OS AUDIO/MIDI SETUP", and it is already set as the input source at "MIDI INTERNAL SPEAKER SETUP".
I used to use this keyboard regularly. Then I used another keyboard and now I'm back to this one (M-Audio Oxygen 61). But now it's not working. Besides, it works nicely with Cubase and Reason. It must be something with Finale.
Help please.
Thanks!

The MIDI Thru setting is under the MIDI Thru menu item. Neither of those are part of that setting.
