Notes labeled in exported sheet music?

Would it be possible that when you export a PDF of the sheet music, the individual notes could be labeled with their metadata? Like the layer (when you open the file in Illustrator) could have the actual name of the note, duration, and timestamp of when it plays as part of the name? That would be amazingly useful for me.

Do you mean like PDF annotations?

I'm intrigued by your workflow. What are you doing to the PDF that you need to have this data?

I doubt you'll ever see this in Finale, so if it's something you need, you'll be best off looking at other tools. However, I don't think that anything does this out of the box.
