Simplify controls for Human Playback

Finale 2007b on MAC, OS 10.4.10

With the changes (improvements???) to human playback (06 and 07) I cannot use midi tool, continuous data such as CC1, for volume of sustaining instruments (GPO); it conflicts with scored hairpins (and other interpretive elements read by HP) causing distorted playback. I am rarely fully appreciative of hp's interpretation of the details of the score, but now have a very difficult time gaining a decent control over playback. For another instance, I like HP's decay on long notes at phrase endings, but if I have that on then I cannot tweak this or that phrase ending without getting distortion.

Also, values such as dynamics and pedal markings are often (albeit sporadically, worse because not predictable) not "chased" as called for in my playback markings.

And the crashes using GPO are way too numerous.

I agree with you, the GPO doesn't work well!!! Even in Finale 2009.
It's time they hired someone to fix these problems...
