I'm surprised I didn't see this listed already. Maybe I just missed it. I'd like to be able to have several staves in a system in different time signatures simultaneously, without hiding barlines or having to pull some tricky system-layering move. I'd like to have repeats on one staff while another keeps going, no repeat (I don't care whether it plays back correctly). I'd like to have one staff play several measures of a time signature while another plays a different number of measures of the same time signature at a different tempo, and end at the same place.

This should be an easily accessible option/tool and not something that's buried deep where nobody will find it. It makes the most sense to just have a checkbox somewhere that says "Lock barlines between staves" or something. Unchecking the box allows you to treat each staff independently, changing measure sizes and time signatures without affecting other staves.
