I play in a string quartet and would love to be able to take some of my compositions and print piano scores for others without having to re-enter each note for the second part in each staff manually (take 4 parts and make a grandstaff out of them) -- I wish there was a way to take an entire staff and simply drag it on top of another staff -- WITHOUT ERASING what was already in the first staff...... I know it's a lot to ask, but it would help me out a ton!!!

This is already possible - at least in the full Finale:

Move the second part to Layer 2 (so that you have the first part in Layer 1, and the second part in Layer 2).

Toggle "Show Active Layer Only" on, and you can copy the active layer without erasing the other layers.
