Hello everyone this is my wishlist:

1. When i want to start playblack from specific measure i need to click on playback settigns then type number of measure and so on..it would be more comfortable if i can just click on measure or timeline or something like that.

2. Change VST instruments also needs a lot of clicks. I load for eg. violin, than listen how it sounds, and i whant to replace it with onther type of violin. So i need to click on midi/audio>instrument setup>vst instruments>and then open VSTi window. It would be more comfrotable if i can for eg. in studio view with one click access to VSTi window.

3. Also it would be great if for eg. in studio view we can manipulate with sounds like in sq. programs, for eg. i made this picture to show what i mean:

so, we can adjust duration of notes, volume etc.

You can leave the VST window open. That helps for number 2. But I agree, it would be nice if a lot mor things were easier to acees quickly.

1.
From the manual :

- Begin playing (Playback Controls closed) from the measure clicked = Spacebar–click in staff

- Begin playing from the clicked measure in the clicked staff only = Shift-spacebar–click in staff

1) you can definitely already do.

2) you can sort of do.

3) Yes, their MIDI editing is very weak, compared to a sequencer. Most users don't mind too much, because Finale is not a sequencer - it's specialisation is producing score, not audio. It's the same reason, in reverse, that composers don't produce big fancy scores in logic or protools. Nonetheless, I think Finale will have to eventually include better MIDI editing to remain competitive; I know I'm occasionally annoyed by the primitiveness of it.
