Copying multiple measures with many clef changes
Moderators: Peter Thomsen, miker
I want to copy 20 or so measures from an existing score of a cello sonata into a new document so that I can play with tempi and other markings without touching the original. This fragment happens to have many clef changes as cello solos often do. All the notes of the new copy are correct but it is all in treble clef, so that the measures that were originally in bass clef have enormous numbers of leger lines. I can easily fix this manually, but is there a way to tell the copy command to preserve the original clefs?

No before you do anything make a "Save as" new file. Don't mess with the original. Before you copy, make sure you have selected "Copy Clefs: Always" in the Edit Filter
Another thought you can do whatever to this save as file. Just select and delete what you don't want.
