Hi,
I'm trying to play a file and I receive an error message: "some instruments are sharing the same midi channel..." and i can't play the file; I controlled the instrument list and each instrument has his own channel...
(i'm using finale 2008) What can I check?
n.b. the file was imported from a b/w tiff file 600 dpi...

Any time I have a problem with a scanned file, the first thing I do is set up a new doc, and copy the music into that one.

B/W TIFF, and scans in the 300-600 range. I think that the finer resolutions actually seem to work against you.

I tried higher resolutions only because with the lower ones I found errors, expecially with pauses (quarters instead of eights...). I'll have to correct errors by hand.
Thank you again
