Ab7/Bb would be possible, not the opposite, at least not without a workaround.
You could create the 2 chord components, move them into position, and create a line (expression) to place in between.
Or create Bb/Ab and add a 7 as an expression to the Ab (less recommended, as the 7 might move if you change the layout).
(Ab7 9 #11 13 or Ab 9 #11 13 are of course very commonly used)

If your chord symbol layout uses horizontal "fraction line" (rather than slash "fraction line"), like this:
Bb
Ab7
then you can position the chord symbols via "Type Into Score":
Type Ab7, hit the UpArrow key, and type Bb.
You will have to add the horizontal "fraction line" as an expression.

That's what i did. But i think this option (Bb/Ab7) would be a great advance in the next Finale versions cause i know many people using that. Anyway, your suggestion was very appreciated! Thanx! ;o)michelp wrote:Ab7/Bb would be possible, not the opposite, at least not without a workaround.

Thank you Peter! I will try your suggestion. Thanks for that, but like i quote the another suggestion, i think that option (Bb/Ab7), would be a great adavance in the next Finale versions. "Polychords" have been a request for many years, but the developers don't seem to consider it a priority.
Maybe the playback of these chords is a bit complicated to handle, as it could bring acoustic confusion if the voicings are not adequate...

Hi Michel, yes, i understood that point. Anyway, i never use Finale to hear music. For me to do this i have Cubase but i understand it's common to have "all in one", even Cubase try to do this (i'm talking about using Cubase to write scores and, i don't like to use Cubase to do scores). Ok, that's the Finale and Cubase point. I will do that things like you and Peter recommend! Thanx! I aprecciated your help! Another route to the same destination: Enter Bb/Ab (slash or horizontal), and on the same note, enter Ab7, which you can nudge to overlap the Ab already there. (Or you could just call the chord Ab9+11 and be done with it!)
