Printing as PDF restricting save dialog size

I use the print as pdf feature a LOT on Finale and on other apps, but I"m having issues since updating to v25. The size of the save screen is seriously restricted, and I can't resize. Am I missing something? How do I fix this so I can see more files at a time with this??

Thanks, this is the case only on Finale. I've restarted a few times since installing v25.1 and v25.2miker wrote:Welcome to the forum.
Is this only with Finale? Have you restarted the computer?

Are you sure you can't resize? You should be able to drag the sides or corners to make the dialog larger.
If that's the case, it may be that the preference file can't be written to. Try deleting the file "com.makemusic.finale.plist" in your user Library's Preferences folder. (NB, not com.makemusic.finale.fprf.)
Obviously, some parameters will be reset.

If I understand you correctly, you are using the Mac OS X Print dialog via the Print dialog’s lower left corner “PDF” pop up menu, and choosing “Save as PDF…”, right?heyhler wrote:On Finale v25.2/macOS Sierra 12.1

Try another way:
Instead of choosing “Save as PDF…”, choose “Open PDF in Preview”.
The PDF will open in Preview as an untitled PDF.
Hit Command-S to save.
Mac OS X 12.6.9 (Monterey), Finale user since 1996
Like any issue I can't find an answer to by googling anymore, I'm just dumb and was trying the wrong regions to resize my window.
