Does anyone else notice that Finale 25 scrolls incorrectly in score view? Most times when I try to scroll backwards by clicking on the horizontal scroll bar left of the scroll slider (is that the term?), my score actually scrolls forward the first time. Subsequent backward scrolls are always successful, but the first attempt invariably scrolls forward. I have noticed this for quite some time - I'm surprised it hasn't been fixed yet.

Exactly the same issue here and it's really annoying. I've noticed that it actually comes from the vertical scroll bar; when scrolling vertically, measures automatically go forward. I hope this will be addressed!

This is a user forum, and the Finale folk don’t “officially” monitor the pages.

Have either of you submitted a ticket?

Yes - I submitted a ticket a while back (I even sent them a video showing this problem). They said they'd study my situation and never got back to me.

I can't reproduce the problem. I assume when you say "score view" you mean page view, not scroll view.

I'd check the Finale preferences and see whether there is something amiss. Follow the procedure here:

Is this a Mac issue? On Windows, I can't reproduce it.

No - I mean scroll view. And I did reset Finale preferences, which fixed the problem for a time - however, the problem resurfaced after a few days. I tried to upload a screen video of the issue, but this forum doesn't allow .mov files to be uploaded.

UPDATE: I notice that this issue is still occurring in 27.4.1.146 - obviously, nothing has been done to correct this bug. When in scroll view, I click on the scroll bar at the bottom of the page to back up several measures (as opposed to one measure at a time) - it proceeds as intended but then immediately lurches forward to the point at where I am in the score (sometimes even one measure past it). Have other Mac users experienced this?

(a search of this issue brought me to my post from five years ago, so nobody else seems to have brought it up here)
