Hello,
some strangeness here.
I have been using Finale 2014.5 on a MBPro Retina for the last couple of weeks on a large project.
The MBPro is running Sierra.
The notes in layer one all appear as hidden upon entering them and the "Create Multi-measure rests" function is inoperative.
Layers 2,3 and 4 are fine.
I am using an additional moniteur to display Finale with the MBPro.

On my aging iMac - Core 2 Duo, running El Capitan 10.11.6 and the same version of Finale - everything is fine.
As I said - STRANGE

If you want to email me as well;

Thanks

Does this happen in all documents - or is it document specific?
Mac OS X 12.6.9 (Monterey), Finale user since 1996

No, thanks, it happens with ALL the documents I've worked on.

I believe that 2014.5 is not recommended to run on Sierra (or rather that Sierra is not recommended for using 2014.5). There may well be a variety of odd little quirks.

I'd suggest updating to 25.5. There are many improvements and bug fixes, and more free updates have been promised.

(Probably best to remove your email, as spam robots will harvest it!)

I see - probably why it's happy on the iMac under El Capitan and quirky on the MBPro under Sierra.
I will remove this post (and my email shortly - thanks for the advice).
