I am writing in Concert B for Bb trumpet. Finale defaults to written Db for the trumpet part. How do I make it written C#?

Finale version 25.5.0.259 for Mac

Thank you.

Go to the Score Manager. With the Trumpet stave selected, use the "Transposition" drop down menu to select "Other". The dialog should already state Bb transposition - uncheck "Simplify Key" and you'll have your C# key.

If you are talking about pitches :
Speedy Entry. Place the cursor on the note and type 9.
