Hi everyone,

I've just made the move to KM from QK, however I'm right in the middle of writing a piece, so i don't have a lot of time to figure out how KM works! I want to do a few things - like having all of my various tools programmed, as well switching the click off and on when I play my score. Can anyone recommend a site where I might be able to download a sample Finale macro to see how these things are done? I must admit I am struggling a bit to get things working (I can't even switch between the main tools!), however if I see a few examples it might become clearer.

Many thanks,
Andrew

PS. I'm using KM5 on my old Mac Pro, and the latest version on my MB Pro. I assume that the macros can be transferred between the two versions?

Hi Andrew,

Here is a post that was very helpful in getting Keyboard Maestro to switch back and forth from Finale to another application on a Mac. The solution given by Rick Bassett toward the end was a lifesaver for me.

I know this is not what you are asking for, but you may need it after you get your macros set up. Another member will be able to explain it to you better than me. KM does work well, and I would now never want to give it up.

Hi Andrew,

I also recently just posted several of my own KM macros on my website. Feel free to use them however you wish!
