Even though the "Show" box is clearly ticked, there are certain items in my parts that are not showing or printing. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

It might depend on what the items are and maybe other settings. Can you post a sample file for us to examine?

Unfortunately, my file is too large to attach. If it helps, the items that are not showing are the instrument names for cues that appear as rhythmic notation on an invisible cue staff. I hope this is enough information for you to go on. Sorry I'm unable to send the file.

Sorry. Just not enough to go on.

Look at the rhythmic notation definition and make sure it set to show expressions.

Motet: It's is set to show expressions as far as I can tell. The problem isn't the end of the world. The players can pencil in the instruments, if necessary, but I'd certainly like to know what I've done wrong at some point. Thanks!

If you can just post a page or two, I suspect we can figure it out.

Instrument names for cues are perhaps assigned to layer 4, which might require you to check Expressions in "Other Layers" (scroll down the image below).
