How do I lengthen out the final measure or final 2 measures. I have much text to write in this measure and I don't have enough room. Someone told me it was Highlighting the measure and then number 5 on the num lk on the keyboard. But I tried and failed on that. Anyway thanks in advance. Michael

I will assume that you are in Page View, and the last system doesn’t extend all the way across the page.

Select the Page Layout tool, and drag the system to the full width by the handle.

If my assumption is wrong, please post a screen shot!

Double click on the measure with the Selection Tool. In the Measure Attributes there is displayed the measure width Finale has allotted for that measure. Simply change the displayed width to a wider setting. You might have to repeat the operation to get it just right. Turn off Automatic Music Spacing in Preferences so the change sticks.
