Is there a way to position the page numbers in a different location on parts linked to the same score? Say I have two 3-page parts from the same score. I want one of the parts laid out side-by-side (3-up) and the other laid out like a booklet. On the side-by-side part, I'd like the page numbers to all be in the upper-right corner of the page. On the booklet part, I'd like the numbers to alternate left/right depending on whether they are an odd or even page number. I can do one or the other, but I can't find a way to do both at the same time. Thanks for any suggestions!

In the parts, you can select several measure numbers at once and move them without changing the position of these numbers in the other parts or the score.
You can also extract parts (exceptionally) if different parts have to differ substantially (layout, resize etc...).

It's the page numbers I want to move, not the measure numbers. Even if I unlink them in all parts, if I move the page number location in one part, it moves them in all parts.

Oops, I misread, sorry. In this case, you might want to create 2 sets of page number text inserts, hide one of them in the score and in some parts. Use the second set of page numbers in the parts where the layout differs.

Thanks. I was thinking it might be something like that. I was hoping however, that there might be some sort of "independent" function that I just wasn't seeing. Oh well...

If they're unlinked, you can drag them manually in one part without affecting the others, if that helps. Changing the frame attributues affects all, as you have discovered.

Ah, I did not realize that dragging to a new location worked differently than changing the frame attributes. Thank you!
