Hi all,
What is the best choice of paper for printing parts and conductor score?
The choices I have are 80gsm offset, 115gsm gloss/satin, 128gsm gloss/satin, 150gsm gloss/satin, or other (a chosen specification I can ask for).
I'm thinking 115gsm satin.
Any thoughts?
Cheers,
Hector.

I use 90 gsm (24# bond or 60# text, in the goofy American system) but my parts and scores are thick, so anything heavier would be unwieldy. 115 should be nice for a modest number of pages. I haven't thought about smoothness or brightness much. Traditionally, I think music paper is light yellowish or cream colored.

Thanks, motet.
Hmmm, I'll try the 115gsm for the conductor score, and maybe I'll go up to the 128gsm for the parts, as mine are pretty skinny.
Cheerio, and thanks,
Hector.
