Hello! I'm editing an orchestra score for a colleague. She has two staves both labeled Violincello & Double Bass. One is optimized out. Whenever I make a change to one, the other changes. If I delete one staff, the other disappears. They are linked somehow. How can I unlink them? Thanks!

Hi Zuill! I attached a small example illustrating the problem. (The unusual margins are because it's part of a dissertation.)

I did some revisions to your file.
Steps taken:
1. In Page View, copy the contents of the staff (staves).
2. In page view, with the Staff tool, highlight and Delete the Staff.
3. Still in the Staff Tool, select the handle that has appeared and choose to show the hidden staff.
4. Paste the data (copied earlier) into this staff.
5. Adjust the Attributes for the String Group to include this staff.
6. Drag the staff up to match the 1" spacing of the other staves.
You'll want to drag the staff up in Scroll View as well.
