I suppose that you are still using Finale 2004?
Expressions can be note expressions or measure expressions.
If you "Copy and Replace Entries", note expressions should be copied, but not measure expressions.
If you want the measure expressions to be copied too, choose "Copy Everything", and use the modifier-key-click trick instead of Copy/Paste:
Select the source region, hold down the correct two modifier keys (Win: Shift-Crtrl ; Mac: Shift-Option), and click where you want a copy.
Peter
PS
"Copy Everything" doesn't copy everything (clef changes, e. g., don't get copied), but it copies everything you usually would want to be copied.

I use Finale 2004 Windows.
Nothing happens holding down Shift + Ctrl
What am I doing wrong, Peter?

I don't understand what's going wrong for you.
In the Mass Edit menu you have selected "Copy and Replace" and "Copy Everything"?
You have selected the source region - and the source region isn't empty (contains entries, expressions &c.)?
You are Shift-Ctrl-clicking where you want the copy?

Sorry, Peter, I didn't explain very well, I'm trying to copy into ANOTHER document.
That you told me works only into the same document.

Copying into another document is a different beast.
Finale 2004 has its weaknesses in that field.
Copying into another document is a lot easier if you upgrade Finale.
For the best results in Finale 2004, try this:
1. In the Mass Edit menu, choose "Copy Entry Items...", and click the button "All".
2. In the Mass Edit menu, choose "Copy Measure Items...", and click the button "All".
3. When you copy the music, you might prefer copying to a Clip File.
4. To get as much as possible into the other document, add an empty measure in the end of the document, select the empty measure, and Insert the music (don't Replace Entries).
When the music is well inserted into the document, you can clean up the document:
Shict-Ctrl-click the music to the desired location,
delete the un-needed measures.
