automatic transposition to fit new instrument's range

When I drag notes from one stanza (instrument) to another, Finale automatically transposes the notes up or down an octave to fit the range of the new instrument. How can I stop this? I don not want automatic changes to adapt to an instrument's range. If there's a problem, I want to fix it, not have Finale do it automatically.
