Is there a simple way to change a score written in a 3/4 time to a 6/8 without redoing the whole score? then the notes?

I appreciate your help

Thank you very much, motet,
As the score is some pages long I didn't want to download the whole file.
So I'd like to know how did you get it.
By the way, what is JW Meter, please?

Once you get the plug-in, it's not as hard as it looks.

There are 32-bit and 64-bit versions of each of the plug-ins. If you're using Finale 2014, you want the 32-bit version.

What are you doing with it once downloaded? Did you see the instructions at the top of that page?

it should be a zip file. Rather than opening it with Finale, you need to unzip it and install the plug-in per instructions.

Well, motet,
I did as you wrote and theoretically is already in Plugs-in, but...where?
After the enigma of who built the pyramids of Egypt this is the biggest mistery!!!
I cannot find any plug-in under that name

Open Preferences - Folders and just look where the plug-ins are kept. No need to click Browse. Just make a note of it. Yours may be the same as mine:

Then, quit Finale, find the zip file you downloaded and extract jwmeterandrhythm.fxt. Move this to the above-found folder. Then restart Finale and open your music file. You should find JW Meter and Rhythm in the Plug-ins menu.

Looks like the file is in the right place. So now you just need to unpack it from the zip file by double-clicking.

While waiting for the JW plugin to get working, here's a more old-fashioned, but not very slow, way of doing it:
The original notation in 3/4:
3-4 time.PNG
> Utilities > Change durations > Change all note durations to 50%, check the option rebar music:
Quarters to eights.PNG
> Time signature tool > Change time to 2 dotted quarters = 6/8:
3 4 to 6 8.PNG

Before doing this step it might be a good idea to fill all empty measures with a dotted half rest.

Otherwise the different parts may not get the correct amount of rest measures/rests

Maybe that's better than the multi-step way I tried.
