For some reason, I am having problems copying and pasting measures. I highlight the measures I wish to copy, click on the copy icon, then click on the measure I want to paste the copied notes onto and then click on the paste icon and nothing happens, the measure remains blank. Can you help?

Usually the culprit is the Copy Filter.
Take a look in the Edit menu.
If {Use Filter} is selected, then de-select it.

You may want to use the context menu for copy and paste or copy and insert, which I think is more expedient: with the Selection Tool, right-click in a measure -> Copy -> right-click in target measure -> Paste. By holding down the "Shift" key, you can copy and paste as many measures as you like.

Also, you can drag-copy.
Drag the selected region to the target region’s beginning measure.
Instead of dragging you can also hold down CTRL, and click on target region’s beginning measure.
This is handy in case the target region is far away from the selected region.

Or click in a measure to select it, and Opt-click to paste in the target measure. That’s on a Mac. Windows has a similar feature (Alt-click, maybe?)
