Hello, I have some issues with Finale that I've not figuered it out yet.
1. How do I make Finale play both first and second endings again when a piece restart after Da Capo or Dal Segno?
2. How do I start a triplet with a rest?
3. How to make Sixtuplest?
4. Is it possible to copy a single layer into another measure without copying the whole bar (in example copying layer 1 into layer 2 of another measure).
Thank you

1) Since it's customary to skip repeats after a da capo (like a classical minuet and trio), that's probably why it works this way. The question will be raised by your performers, too. Perhaps you can make the first ending "1,3." (and possibly the second "2,4."?) instead? You could also try this on the repeat assignment:
If you pick "Show active layer only" on the Document menu, it will only copy the active layer. Since you want to swap layers, though, you'll need to swap (Edit menu, move/copy layers) either afterwards, or swap before, copy, then swap the original back.
2) & 3) Simple entry or Speedy entry? What sort of triplet (8th-8th-8th, or quarter-8th, or...?)If you pick "Show active layer only" on the Document menu, it will only copy the active layer. Since you want to swap layers, though, you'll need to swap (Edit menu, move/copy layers) either afterwards, or swap before, copy, then swap the original back.

As Motet said, we can't tell you much about the triplet questions without knowing how you are entering them.
You start a triplet with a rest the same way you do any other triplet.
You do a sextuplet by setting up the tuplet definition as (in my example) 6 eighth notes in the space of 4 eighth notes.

1) Double click on the handle of the number 1 and apply motet's suggestion to the first ending (1, 3), with alternate text "1" if you prefer. It is not necessary to change anything to the second ending, I think.

Not the most intuitive way but it works.
