Hello,
I'm switching to Finale from Sibelius for a couple of reasons, but one big reason is Finale's compatibility with third-party fonts. I recently purchased November 2, and my old version of Finale (2014), had a document type all set up for that font.
I just downloaded the demo trial of Finale 26, and that document type has disappeared. Is this because it's only a demo? I hope so, as I'd hate to upgrade and have to buy the font over again.
Thanks, and sorry for the very newbie question!
November 2 Document Style Disappeared?

When you bought the font, didn’t you download it to your computer and install it? You certainly wouldn’t have to buy ir again.
I’ve never seen a November default Finale doc. I wonder if you didn’t get it when you bought the font?

Hi Miker,
Yes, I downloaded and installed it. I was surprised when I opened Finale 2014 and right in the startup screen by engraving and handwritten it had November listed as a default. It said it was a template for the November font style.
Downloading the demo, I was surprised to see it disappear, hence my confusion. The font is still there from what I can tell.

In that case, open a new default document. In Document menu > Set default music font... you can set up a new doc with November, and save that as a template.
Instructions are in the manual.
