Hi there,
I recently upgraded to version 27, and I am having an issue with the Easy Tremelo plugin.
When I try to add a tremelo between two half notes or whole notes, I get a couple of large "W"s on the screen, obscuring the notes. If I select quarter notes, I get "U"s on the screen. I've never seen this issue before and I am wondering if anyone else has encountered it. It seems like the font is not rendering correctly or something like that. Please see the attached screenshots.
Thank you,
Craig

The Finale Maestro beta, over five years ago, came with Libraries and FinaleScripts to convert from SMuFL to non-SMuFL, so I have no idea why they enforced this apartheid between the formats.
They could have even produced a hybrid font, like November 2 (or Sebastian!) which contains both sets of glyphs. While that might have led to confusion about which set was being used, it would at least have provided some stability so that symbols would always be visually correct.
At the moment, we have a bunch of plugins that don’t add the correct symbols in new SMuFL documents, and no way of switch between the sets.
The new Maestro is a very impressive collection of symbols: microtonal accidentals, all kinds of performance techniques, noteheads, and others, all under one roof. But until MM improves the implementation, and uses the semantic benefits internally, the main advantage of the new Finale fonts is that they can be used in Dorico.

Not in my workflow. The only reason I've had to go there (or to fonts like Bravura) is to find things for other people.
