Hi.

I'm trying to keep the notes/rests hidden. In Prefs/open I have checked "keep the notes hidden" but they are still visible. Any help gratefully received.

Are you saying that the hidden notes get printed?

Or are you talking about the view on the computer screen?

You mention {Prefs/Open}, but there is also
View menu > Show > Hidden Notes and Rests

Hi Peter,

Solved... I hadn't thought of the view menu. Many thanks.

Hi... sorry to present this here, but I can't find how to create a new post !

Here's the problem : in a new file all my grace notes have lost their slashes. Other pieces I am working on are fine. Speedy entry commands are not a solution. Document options — toggling "always slash" did not help either. The only recent change has been to modify the offset.

Any help gratefully received. :(

Can you post the file?

Raybird,

I think that you forgot to attach your Finale document.

Without having a Finale document to examine we can only guess.

Not sure why you're having a problem. musx is certainly allowed, and you have plenty of posts.

Send it to me at wawoodman at aol dot com.

No idea what was causing the problem, probably some file corruption. Exporting to XML and importing it back in fixed the problem.
