I composed a piece using separate files. Each "chunk" has many different time signatures. All of them showed correctly. When I copied them from their individual files and pasted in a new file, none of the time signatures showed up. I've gone into "show time signatures" for each system but nothing changes.
The other problem is that the systems keep locking. Very annoying.
Composing is easy. Using Finale is hard, not that any other notation software is easier.
Also double barlines are showing up all over from other pieces although they appear randomly in the new score. I can't get rid of them.
Time signatures not showing

If they're not showing the probably didn't get copied. Time signatures will only copy if you copy the entire stack. If that's not it, check if you're using the copy filter and what the filter is set to.

Everything is checked in the filter. The other thing that happened is that the file won't let me add pages. It just jams every measure up at the last page. I unlock systems, but no change. Never had this happen before, but I've never pasted together something quite as much as this.

If you want to attach the file here, someone may be able to figure it out.
After pasting, double-click in a few places with the time signature tool. Does it show the time signature you think it should?
Is this an old file you're pasting into? The double barlines, locking of systems, and refusal to create new pages are all strange. Make sure "Automatic update layout" is on in Preferences/Edit.
