I want to save a Finale file as pdf. Here are my settings:
Page Layout > Page Size… > Tabloid (27.94 x 43.18)
File > Page Setup… > Paper Size US Letter 216 by 279mm
This is a capture of the Print window.
When I click PDF I get this message:
"The size of some pages in this document does not
match the size of the pages in the printer. Do you
wish to continue?"
After I click Yes, the resulted pdf file looks like this…
… instead of this:
What am I doing wrong?
Can't get a correct PDF file

Tabloid (279 x 432 mm) is not Letter (216 x 279). Paper sizes should be identical.

The tabloid paper size should be defined in 3 places :
• Document -> Page Format -> Score -> Page Size. To apply it, Page Layout -> Redefine Pages -> All pages
• File -> Page Setup -> Paper Size
• File -> Print -> Paper size
• Document -> Page Format -> Score -> Page Size. To apply it, Page Layout -> Redefine Pages -> All pages
• File -> Page Setup -> Paper Size
• File -> Print -> Paper size

finalizer,
Instead of “printing” to a PDF file you can also use Finale’s Graphics Tool to Export Pages as a PDF file.
Exporting via the Graphics Tool might be a little faster, and you will get a smaller PDF file, in true {Black-and-White}.
