Re: Forum basics
I first noticed it a day or two ago. I suspect it's new.
Re: Forum basics
It's been there all along, as far as I know. Maybe it has to do with your privacy settings?

Re: Forum basics
I haven't changed any settings. I first noticed the diagonal blue strip for the first time today, across the right upper corner of the pane.

AFAIK, that has been there all along. You have just not noticed it until now.

Re: Forum basics
Looks like the "Last visit" information is now gone for everybody. I wonder why.

When you click on the person's name to look at their profile, it is there.

Ah. Perhaps I'm misremembering, but I thought it was in the data that appears alongside each post.

Re: Forum basics
I think I finally figured out you can only delete your posting if it's the last one in the thread. Maybe this was obvious to others, but it was a mystery to me. You can of course edit a posting and delete all but one character.
Re: Forum basics
AHA! That explains why I've occasionally seen "comment deleted" on other forums.
On this forum though, as a Moderator, I have a DELETE button for all posts, even yours! BWA-HA-HA!!!

Re: Forum basics
What is the number of posts a new user must make before being able to attach a file? Or is it some other criterion besides number of postings? It would be useful to know this when trying to solve a new person's problem.
Re: Forum basics
I don't know, sorry.

Re: Forum basics
Is there a way to "forget" a topic? Sometimes there is a topic that doesn't interest me which goes on and on and I'd like to never see it again.
