I think you mentioned this, or something like this a while back.
In 2014.5 with Sierra 10.12.5 my tool palette is chopped off as in the attachment. This doesn't happen in 25.4 or 2014.
I've tried change the tool size from large to normal but that didn't help. If I stretch them horizontally or vertically in pairs the window is still chopped. I have not yet trashed preferences. Is there anything I am missing?
I can still program tools so I can select them even though I don't see them, but it would be nice to glance up there to see what is selected.

IIRC, there was a bug that if you resized the pallet, even once, they went funky. The only fix that I know of, was to reinstall, and then leave them alone.

You are all correct. Trashing prefs fixes the chop, but any change to the shape of the palette causes it to immediately reoccur.
