Voices in wrong pitch on playback

Postby Krelm2018 » Sun Aug 12, 2018 5:53 pm

I am having random and sporadic issues with the playback treating one or more voices to be a half-tone off of its correct pitch. Thus, in a jazz band score, the 2nd and 3rd trombones correctly play at concert pitch, while the 1st and 4th trombone voices play (on speedy entry and on playback) a half-step sharp. The note display is accurate - just the playback is off. I first had this come up in a file started in previous version of Finale (2012? was that the immediate previous version from current?). I fixed that by setting up a new file within Finale 25, and then copying the parts from the previous version into that file - no problem. Now I just tried that in another file, and it's actually worse. Is this a file conversion problem? Am I stuck starting from scratch and re-entering anything I had entered in Finale 2012 manually?

Just a wild guess:

Are there any glissandi in the staves that play “out-of-tune”?
