How do I make the fretboards larger?

I am not sure what you need, exactly, by your word ‘larger’.
Perhaps you need an increased fretboard width (but keep the same fretboard height)?
To do so:
Chord Tool. Handles appear on the chord symbols.
Context-click a chord handle. In the context menu, choose {Edit Chord Definition…}.
You get to the dialog box Chord Definition.
In the pane Fretboard, click the button {Edit Styles…}.
You get to the dialog box Fretboard Styles.
At the top of the dialog box, in the pop up menu Available, you can choose various Fretboard Styles.
Try e. g. the style ‘Wide’.
You can also click the button New, to create a new Fretboard Style.
Or, edit the already existing Fretboard Styles.
